Library cards are free to obtain and only require proof of residency in the area (I.D. or mail addressed to your local residence) and some basic information. Children as young as 5yrs may sign up as well with a parent/guardian present. Library cards provide free access to not only books/DVDs/puzzles etc, but an array of outstanding resources such as free online classes, other Yavapai County Library items, Ancestry research, digital materials, and much more. No need to be bored during pandemic closures…sign up today! We are open for the public to come inside M-F 9-6 and Sat 10-2.

Starting June 1, 2021...TAILS & TALES Free Summer Reading Program! Registration now open! Stay tuned for more specifics in late Spring - we will have live performers Wed. mornings outside (beginning June 2), and take home activities each week. Local businesses & organizations who would like to make a tax-deductible donation to sponsor this great community literacy program, please contact Mrs. Rebecca at 928-636-9115 or We will include your business name in our event brochures in print and online as a way of saying thanks!

Online Storytime on Facebook Live (below), each Tuesday at 10:30am. You may also join Mrs. Rebecca for In-Person Storytime in Memory Park (starting 4/14/21) each Wednesday at 10:30am this Spring thru 5/19/21! (Weather Permitting) Park will feature different books and activities than Online. On May 19th we will do a special Science Workshop Storytime (Leap into Science)! NO STORYTIME May 26th-July 14th but be sure to sign up for Summer Reading Program which will be during those weeks! Registration now open.
