PUBLIC HEARING

Rregarding the application and acceptance of funding from Arizona Department of Transportation
The Town of Chino Valley will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 11, 2010, 6:00 p.m. in the Chino Valley Council Chambers, 1020 W. Palomino Rd., Chino Valley, AZ 86323 for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the application and acceptance of funding from Arizona Department of Transportation's Section 5311 Rural Transportation Grant program for fiscal year 2010/2011, as approved by the Chino Valley, Arizona Town Council by Resolution No. 10-925. Expenses for the program shall be provided by funding from the Federal Transit Administration, Arizona Department of Transportation, Town of Chino Valley, and Local Transportation Assistance Funding II grant. CONSTRUCTION ALERT
"Center Street Sewer Project"
The Town of Chino Valley is now near completion of this project. The entire length of the sewer main is in place, and the contractor is working on service connections, testing procedures and final cleanup. The next phase of this project will be to replace Center Street with Asphalt with Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk. This "piggyback" project is a joint venture with the Chino Valley Unified School District. Road construction is anticipated to begin approximately March 1, 2010.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING PROGRAM
The Town of Chino Valley recycles Christmas trees as part of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Earth 911 tree recycling program. The trees are chipped into mulch and offered back (free of charge) to the community for landscape and water conservation purposes. Information on location of free mulch can be obtained by calling The Town of Chino Valley Parks and Trails Division at (928) 636-9780 Extension 7101.
"OPEN NIGHTS WITH THE MAYOR"
The Mayor will hold an open invitation to the public to hear comments, input, and suggestions regarding
the Town of Chino Valley on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Chino Valley Council Chambers.

TOWN HOURS
All Town Administrative Offices including Town Hall, Development Services, Engineering, Public Works, Court, and Senior Center are
open Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
The Library is open Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. The Library is closed on Fridays.
Parks, Recreation and Aquatics are open various days and hours to accommodate for Recreation Programs. Please check with this department at 636-9780 for scheduled times and events.
