Annie moved to Arizona in 1995, however, she is a proud native of the Buckeye State. Community service based values and principles were instilled in her as a young child, and she has carried that dedication and action throughout her adult life. She attended Grand Canyon University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies. After her husband’s transition from active duty military service, her family relocated to Chino Valley to raise their two boys and many animals; enjoying the lifestyle of a smaller town with open spaces and a strong sense of community.
Through volunteering within local community organizations over the years, she felt the need to be more committed to representing Chino Valley families within Town Government. Annie was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission and learned a great deal about the history of Chino Valley, our municipal organization, and specifically, the need for sustainable growth while maintaining the lifestyle, resources, and sense of community her family moved here to celebrate.
Annie is an active wife and mother, dedicated to her family, youth sports and education, and various 501c3 organizations. She is a vocal advocate for foster children and adoption resources, our honorable Military, Veterans, Police Officers, and Firefighters. She takes great pride in our community, our children, and ethically representing our local families for the future of Chino Valley.
