| Economic Development Subcommittee (Council) | Consists of 3 Council members, appointed by the Town Council to review and advise the Council on Town economic development matters. Meets twice annually in January and June or as required on the 4th Wednesday of the month. |
| Finance Subcommittee (Council) | Consists of 3 Council members appointed by the Town Council to review and advise Council on Town finance and budget matters. Meets annually and as needed on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. |
| Industrial Development Authority | A non-profit corporation consisting of 5 citizens appointed by the Town Council to issue revenue bonds to finance projects defined under the Industrial Development Financing Act. Meets annually and as needed. |

| Municipal Property Corporation | A non-profit corporation consisting of 5 citizens appointed by the Town Council to assist the Town in financing the acquisition of real and personal property; and financing improvements, furnishings, and equipment for any real or personal property. |
| Parks & Recreation Advisory Board | Consists of 7 citizens appointed by the Town Council to review and advise Council on parks and recreation facility needs, conditions, and program concerns. Meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month. |
| Planning & Zoning Commission | Consists of 7 citizens appointed by the Town Council to make recommendations to the Council regarding planning, zoning, and other land use matters. Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month. |
| Program Review Subcommittee (Council) | Review the Town's current programs for impacts on the Town's General Fund and submit their findings to the Council Finance Committee. Meets annually and as needed . |
| Public Safety Retirement Board | Consists of 5 members appointed by the Town Council to address specific public safety retirement matters. Meets twice annually and as needed. |
| Public Safety Subcommittee (Council) | Consists of 3 Councilmembers appointed by the Town Council to review and advise the Council on public safety and traffic control matters. Meets annually and as needed. |
| Recreation Committee (Mayor's Ad Hoc) | Consists of 3 Councilmembers and 4 citizens appointed by the Mayor to review and make recommendations regarding recreational opportunities and planning at Old Home Manor. Meets monthly or as needed. |
| Roads & Streets Committee | Consists of 7 citizens and Councilmembers appointed by the Town Council to review and advise Council on roads and street improvements, maintenance, and funding matters. Meets quarterly on the 2nd Tuesday of September, December, March, and June. |
| Senior Center Advisory Board | Consists of 7 citizens appointed by the Town Council to review and advise Council on Senior Center policy, budget matters, programs, and services. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month. |
| Town Council | The Town Council consists of the Mayor and 6 Councilmembers, who are elected by the Town's voters. Council regular meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at the Council Chambers. Special meetings may meeting occur on 1st or 3rd Thursdays |
