Fleet Maintenance

Mission Statement
To provide an efficient, comprehensive fleet management program, which responsively fulfills the vehicle and equipment needs of the various Town Divisions through cost-effective practices and dedicated personal service.

Duties
Fleet Maintenance Division prepares and presents budgets for Police, Public Works, Development Services, Parks and Recreation and other Divisions light duty vehicles and equipment under the town's general fund. All Road Division equipment and vehicles are prepared and presented under the Highway User Revenue Funds. This Division is responsible for preparing vehicle and equipment specifications, their purchases, maintenance and sale of used equipment.

Fleet Activity
This Division is responsible for all aspects of fleet activity including but not limited to:
  • Preventative maintenance on 130 vehicles and equipment
  • Vehicle computer diagnostics
  • Diesel, gas engine and transmission rebuilds /replacements
  • Hydraulic repairs
  • Welding fabrication
  • Tire replacement and repair
  • Emergency lighting install and repair
  • Computer tracking program
  • 24 hour emergency on-call for all departments
