The Chino Valley Public Library has something for all your digital needs!
With an active Library Card you can access:
• Internet Hot Spot devices to bring Wi-Fi in your home. Provides mobile internet.
• Wonderbooks (for kids) and Playaways (for all ages) to listen to books (Wonderbooks read a physical book to you with discussion questions at the end, Playaways are audiobooks - no CD player, Wi-Fi, or downloads necessary, just plug in headphones or a cable to connect to your car's stereo!)
• Virtual Reality Book Kits for kids (contain cardboard VR goggles and a level reader non-fiction book. Requires smartphone to scan QR code to download app and to view screen through goggles.)
• Countless free eBooks/eMagazines and digital audiobooks for all ages through Overdrive website or Libby app, and complimentary access to the New York Times newspaper online.
• Countless free resources on a variety of subjects (see the online classes menu option at www.chinoaz.net/214/library, also check out the Research and Learn a Language (Mango) menu options). Even Ancestry is available for free!
No Library Card needed to access:
• Free Wi-Fi in and around our building during our business hours, no password needed.
• Internet access computers (using a free guest pass), B&W/Color printers, and B&W copier (10 cents a page for B&W, 50 cents a page for color).
• Kid’s Educational Game Computers for a variety of ages (no internet access, just select a game and play!)
